Rescuers’ pledge
Our rescuers make a solemn promise in the presence of the foundation’s authorities. They receive a service badge, an identity card and a certificate.
„I, the undersigned, solemnly and freely, on my word of honour, aware of the responsibility, the dangers and the risk I am taking, promise:
For as long as I am healthy, I will answer every call from the Chief or the deputy, at the stated place and time, at any time of year or day and in any weather, to help people whose life or health is in danger.
I will keep the EMS PL statute and defend it.
I will carry out the orders of the Chief, the deputies, section leaders and the people directing rescue operations honestly and diligently, remembering that human health and life depend on what I do.
As a sign of good will, I confirm this promise by giving my hand to the Chief.”
